DOES YOUR THINKING LIMIT YOUR SUCCESS?

 

The National Management Association is proud to present this informal and educational event
 featuring Professional Speaker Lindon A. Crow, who will present brain teaser exercises that allow
 you to explore your thinking and encourage you to expand your pre-programmed notion about a
particular situation. There is also a process designed to expose your assumption around money
and how your own thoughts about money directly translate into actions.

 

   LUNCH WILL BE PROVIDED (get there early)

The National Management Association is proud to present this informal and educational event featuring Barbara Lamb, a Program Manager from the Business Office, which is responsible for implementing critical management reforms in the City including reengineering efforts and Managed Competition.

 

Managed competition provides a structured, transparent process that allows an open and fair comparison of public sector employees and independent contractors in their ability to deliver services to our citizens. The Managed Competition program has been very active over the last year and a half. The presentation will provide an overview of the process and provide an update on the competitions that have been completed so far and on those that are currently underway or about to start

Thisevent is free to members and $5 for non-members.

Award Winner 2010-2011

 

The Gold Knight Award is the highest award an NMA council can bestow upon an outstanding executive. The nominee must be an executive whose reputation for outstanding leadership is well-known in the area served by the council. The person should be one who has motivated other management people to practice the principles of the Association's Code of Ethics and has encouraged others to contribute toward achievement of the objectives of the Association. The nominee should be one who is an outstanding influence for the preservation of the American Enterprise System among business, industrial, and community associates.
